RiNVENT Centre of Excellence Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "the Company") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website www.rinvent.net.
Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described herein.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information when you interact with our website or submit a form:
A. Information you provide voluntarily:
- Full name and contact details (email address, mobile number)
- Organisation or company name
- Purpose of enquiry and message content
- Career application details including educational qualifications, work experience, skills, and biography
- Family background information (for career applications only, voluntarily submitted)
- Last 4 digits of Aadhaar number and PAN number (text only) — for identity reference in career applications. No Aadhaar or PAN documents are uploaded or stored.
- Resume / CV (PDF or Word format) — for career applications only
- College enrollment number and 10th board roll number — for education verification in career applications
- Talent profile information including department, experience, credits, and portfolio links (auditions/enrollment forms)
B. Biometric and verification data (collected with your explicit action and consent):
- Live photograph: A real-time photo captured via your device camera using blink-based liveness detection. This is required for all form submissions to verify that a real, live person is submitting the form and to prevent identity fraud. The photo is stored securely and used solely for this verification purpose.
- Precise GPS location: Your exact geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude, and accuracy in metres) at the time of form submission, along with a human-readable address obtained via reverse geocoding. Location capture is mandatory and requires your explicit browser permission. This is used exclusively for fraud prevention and geographic verification of submissions.
- OTP (One-Time Password) verification: Your mobile number is verified via SMS OTP before form submission. The OTP itself is not stored — only the fact that the number was verified.
C. Device and network information (collected automatically):
When you submit a form on our website, the following technical information is automatically recorded for fraud prevention and security purposes. No user action is required — this information is collected in the background at the time of submission:
- IP address: Your device's public IP address as seen by our server
- Device type: Whether you are using a mobile, tablet, or desktop device
- Operating system: Name and version (e.g. Android 14, iOS 17, Windows 11)
- Browser: Name and version (e.g. Chrome 124, Safari 17, Edge 123)
- Screen resolution: Your device screen dimensions
- Timezone: Your device timezone (e.g. Asia/Kolkata)
- Language: Your browser's configured language (e.g. en-IN)
- Network connection type: General connection category (e.g. 4G, WiFi) and estimated download speed — available on Chrome and Android browsers only; not captured on Safari or Firefox
- Touch capability: Whether your device supports touch input
We do not collect: IMEI numbers, SIM card details, phone numbers from SIM, call logs, contacts, messages, Aadhaar documents, PAN documents, bank account details, passwords, health data, caste, religion, or any other data not explicitly listed above. Such access to device-level data is technically not possible through a standard web browser and would be illegal without explicit regulatory authorisation under Indian law.
